We recently had the brilliant news that the Full Stop Cafe are finalists for a Somerset Tourism Award. The café have worked incredibly hard this year and couldn’t be more deserving of this award, so we’re very excited for them.
Café manager Beki is over the moon;
“The Full Stop Cafe staff are very proud (and pleased!) to announce that we have been chosen as finalists in the ‘Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards’ for 2018!”
Beki also gave us a little more detail about the award itself;
“We are receiving an award within the ‘Cafe/ Tearoom of the Year’ category and are up against stiff competition from some other fantastic places. We are eagerly awaiting news as to which award we achieve (Gold Silver or Bronze), which will be revealed in the ceremony at The Apex Hotel in Bath on the evening of Thursday November 15th.
She also took the time to thank everyone for their support.
“Meanwhile we would like to say thanks to all our customers for their continuing support and encouragement, and to all the staff for their hard work and dedication to the cafe.”
2018 has been a big year for the cafe, with the renovation in April (which you can read about here
) and a busy summer period, so it would be wonderful to go out with a bang at next week’s award ceremony.
We managed to speak to some café customers, who had nothing but lovely things to say;
“Lovely place, and wonderful food!”
“We used to come in for a cuppa all the time when we lived in the area, and now we’ve come all the way from Sweden!”
“The café is adorable and very relaxing, and I love the aesthetic!”
“The brie on toast with chilli jam is amazing!”
“The café always smells wonderful and the staff are kind and helpful.”
“The perfect place to sit and write with a good cup of coffee!”
